Director
Dr. Chi is the Canada Research Chair in Quantum Electronic Devices and Circuits at the University of Ottawa. He is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics, cross-appointed to the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.
The Chi Lab studies (i) magnetic topological interfaces for novel memory and logic, and (ii) proximity superconducting devices and circuits towards practical quantum information processing.

Manager
Dr. Plumadore is the Senior Technician managing the operation of the AIXTRON MOCVD. He obtained his Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Ottawa. In his graduate research, he studied the fabrication and characterization of two-dimensional (2D) materials with low temperature & ultrahigh vacuum scanning tunneling microscopy and spectroscopy (STM/S). His Ph.D. thesis extended that goal to the fabrication of ultraclean 2D van der Waals heterostructure devices, specifically tailored for STM experiments.
